After having completed your building to the German Floor level from part one(If you didn’t see part one click here:https://www.eazyhc.com/blog/do-you-know-you-can-build-your-house-from-a-salary-of-n-40000/) I will be giving you information on how to get the superstructure phase of the project done (i.e. from the German floor to the roof beam).
Just like we stated in part one, all you need is determination and focus, and before you know it will all be done.
From the German floor to the roof level you are going to use 6” (6 inches) blocks; this is just sufficient to withstand the load that will be on the building.
From a carefully calculated estimate, N640,000 (Six Hundred and Forty Thousand Naira) is sufficient to move the above 2 bedroom bungalow from the German floor to the roof beam level in the absence of wastage.
Your salary for a month is N40,000.
This time around for you to meet the challenging sum to complete the building to roof beam level, a little more sacrifice will have to be made.
So in this case we will be taking 45% from our salary instead of the initial 30% we used in part one.
So, 45% of N40,000 = N18,000
For a year, it will give N18,000 x 12 months = N216,000
For 3years, it will give N216,000 x 3 years = N648,000.
From your savings of N648,000 in 3years, N640,000 will be enough in executing the super-structure (i.e. from German floor to roof beam) of this project, you will still have an excess of N 8,000 which will cover for any increase in cost of building materials within the period of savings.
If you are earning more than N40,000 per month, this means that you might not need up to 3 years to do the completion of the super-structure in the above plan layout.
